Restoration of the facades of Palazzo Pitti
There are many works of the cultural and artistic heritage of Florence awaiting urgent restoration, and this is the reason that lead the Superintendency for Architectural Heritage and the Landscape, to favor the recovery and make the exceptionally valuable assets usable by all, even using the contributions of private companies for the protection of the Florentine heritage. A cultural heritage of considerable historical value, which requires conservation and consolidation interventions. The ancient Medici palace, Palazzo Pitti, was able to take advantage of funds donated by private companies. The intervention was carried out thanks to the Media Firenze group which proposed a virtuous project and was favorably received by the Superintendence. Media Firenze coordinated a group of private companies in order to support the restoration costs, based on a marketing project combining the public need to restore the imposing Palazzo Pitti and offer a return to the corporate image. An installation created on the scaffolding with the reproduction of the facades themselves for the entire duration of the works.
The restoration work on the facades of Palazzo Pitti ended with the approval of the Superintendency and the satisfaction of all the professionals for having carried out the work in a workmanlike manner through the use of a sponsorship. The construction site, set up with high-quality canvases and with a marginal surface reserved for sponsors, has allowed Media Firenze to involve many private companies so that it was possible to achieve financial coverage for the works which began on the central part and were carried out in several phases up to affect the part of the Rondò delle Carrozze.
